Clinical Neurofeedback: Training Brain Behavior

چکیده
T he clinical practice of brain training through neurofeedback has developed within the field of medicine mostly in the domain of Behavioral Medicine. Its rapid growth in recent years as a form of complementary medicine and its emphasis on a direct engagement with brain physiology urge its more formal appraisal within the realm of Neurology. The immature central nervous system is especially suited for this form of targeted brain training, as the developing brain is tasked with integrating regulatory and modulatory pathways that orchestrate emergent neuronal function.
